This is a list of all the terms and abbreviations you may have seen in and around the Cyberscore community.
- CS/CS3 - An abbreviation for Cyberscore/Cyberscore 3.
- CSF - Cyberscore forum.
- CSP - Cyberscore Points. Every submission you have on Cyberscore earns you CSP. This is based on your position, and how good your score is in relation to the others in the chart.
- CSR - Cyberscore Rating. The mainboard is ordered by CSR. This is based on the number of submissions you have, and the average CSP you have for each record.

- DS/NDS - Nintendo DS (handheld).
- GB - Nintendo Gameboy (handheld).
- GBA - Nintendo Gameboy Advance (handheld).
- GBC - Nintendo Gameboy Colour (handheld).
- GC - Nintendo Gamecube (console).
- IRC - Internal Relay Chat. Cyberscore has it's own place to chat which can be accessed by the link on the main page.
- N64 - Nintendo 64 (console).
- NTSC - A television format used mostly in North America and Japan. NTSC games run at 60hz.
- PAL - A television format used primarily in Europe. PAL games run at 50hz. The differences between PAL and NTSC versions of games occasionally cause them to be split on Cyberscore.
- PS - Sony Playstation (console).
- PS2 - Sony Playstation 2 (console).
- PSP - Sony Playstation Portable (handheld).
- RS/Retroscore - A version/section of Cyberscore devoted to older games. Still in development.
- RPC - Records Per Chart. This can be seen on the popular games page and shows the average number of submissions for every chart for that game.
- Sub - Short for submission. 1 submission is 1 record entered onto the site.
