FAQ Requests
From Cyberscore Wiki
Make sure you follow these steps if you want a game added as quickly as possible!! See the topic in the forum for more information and a 'copy and paste' request form.
- Make sure that there is not already a current topic for the game that you want added, try using the forum search function. If there isn't, create one. Make sure that in the post you include the types of charts that would be added for the game. There is no need to list the information until you have the required number of votes. Please only list one game per topic-- it makes things much easier for users to support and mods to add.
- Wait. There is no need to continuously keep bumping your topic. If someone wants that game added then they should come across it using the search function. New games require 5 votes. There are 60 days for the required votes to be gathered. Topics older than 60 days will be locked by the moderators if posted in and a new topic will need to be created to re-request the game.
- When you have 5 votes, the first thing you need to do is to collect all of the required information. Just copy and paste the section below into your post. If there is any part of it that you do not know, then leave it as it is and try to find someone who does. Please if you want the charts in the order you have written, let us know at this stage - fixing them afterwards is painful...
- To make the mods' lives easier and your game get added more quickly put " - X votes - TO BE ADDED" to the end of your topic title once enough votes have been gathered.
- Wait for the game to be added, or for a mod to make a comment.
Notes : In general, five voices of support are needed for a game to be added. Keep in mind that this is just a general number and is subject to change. Having five supporters does not by any means guarantee your game will be added.
If any of the charts that are listed are potentially very easily maxed out, or can be played by multiple people at the same time, then it is important that we know about this, as it will usually mean they are precluded from being added to the site. The idea of maxable charts is a subjective one however, so we will deal with any issues on a game-by-game basis. If a game is added and we find issues with charts that are easily maxed we reserve the right to remove them.
Also if a game meets all the requirements and still hasn't been added, remember:
The mods are real people with lives of their own, and they may not have time to add your game right away. Please be patient and it should go up soon! :-)
DISCLAIMER: At this time, only retail PC/console games are being added to the site. If you would like to see coin-op, freeware, or other games added, please try to get support for those platforms before requesting individual games.
