FAQ CSF
From Cyberscore Wiki
- What do those stars mean by my name?
- That's simply a ranking system to show how many posts a person has made. As you reach certain postcounts you will receive more stars. Please don't spam just to raise your postcount as it is pointless and will likely get you into trouble. Some people have different coloured stars or different amounts like the beta testers, moderators and administrators.
- How big can my avatar be
- 150x150 pixels, and no larger than 100kb in size.
- How big can I have my signature?
- You can have offsite images totally 500x150 pixels and no larger than 100kb in size. You may, in addition, have 5 cyberscore rank buttons in a single horizontal line in your signature that will not be counted against your size restrictions. See here for more info on those.
- How do I get my signature images to work?
- You will need to upload the picture (in gif or jpg format) somewhere on the internet, such as Photobucket and Imageshack. Then you can edit your profile to include link to image here only without the spaces.
- What do you consider spamming?
- Making 2 or more posts in a row in a topic for no reason, advertising other websites, especially if it is adult in nature. Also going off topic and simply posting just to get your postcount higher. Forum games has had its postcount disabled because of this.
- Is there anywhere that I can spam?
- No. Don't spam.
- I have a good idea for a challenge. What can I do to set one up?
- If you want to set up a challenge for a particular game then simply create a new topic in the Gaming Challengs forum. You can set what ever rules you like.
- How do I request a game to go on Cyberscore?
- Firstly, make sure the game you want to go on CS hasn't already had a request made in the Game Requests forum within the last two months. If not then read this topic and try and gather some of the relevant information, and make sure we've not already banned the game from going up here. If everything is good to go, make your topic and hope it gets the support!
- What about Retroscore?
- At this point the only real difference is that you make your request in Retro Game Requests instead. Currently Retroscore doesn't have a planned opening date yet though.
- Someone's being abusive, what do I do?
- If you feel someone is being out of order to you or to someone else on the forum, PM a moderator and let him or her know about it, they'll deal with the person accordingly. You can also report posts that are clearly breaking the rules.
